I really enjoyed my last week’s read and I’m like slapping myself for not reading it sooner.lol S. J. Warner‘s debut novel-Aphrodite’s Fire is an evocative, sexy, hot, romantic thriller. I knew from the start that I would enjoy it the same way I enjoyed her poetry writing.

The two lovers soon find they are snared at every turn. Can they move beyond their pained pasts and the danger of the present to buy themselves a future or will the sadistic enemy they face rip their lives apart?

Two people against the odds and multiple obstacles beyond the normal day-to-day grind trying to find their ways and each other no matter what comes at them has always intrigued me. Thankfully, S.J. did a wonderful job of creating this Never-easy-Never-dull storyline and just the right mix of emotional charged characters and situations to not only hold interest, but stir up an avalanche of mixed emotions🔥🔥🔥🔥 and sensuality🔥🔥🔥🔥 which kept me glued from start to finish. While the Kindle version is without illustrations, for this old guy and his ♥, it’s a blessing, maybe.
My imagination at least kept my excitement and blood pressure in check(mostly). Great job, S.J. This is just the beginning. I and my Cardiologist and the Pharmaceutical companies are thankful and hope there is more to come in the near future. Loved it is a complete understatement. ♥♥
