My love for Edward is pure and true. My love for beards is dirty and lusty. Perfect combo, right? Beards are just plain manly. Picture your beloved Edward with a nice, thick, soft beard, evidence of his masculinity. UNF. Now imagine how that nice, thick, soft beard would feel on your skin. Now you get the idea. [Debb: LoofahEdward… *eyes glaze over*]
I have gathered for you, with the help of my twitter friends, several stories with beardy Edwards. I found that some of my favorites have been pulled. *Aro voice* This is a sadness. However there are still some sexy, manly beardy Edwards out there.

Fan Fic Friday: Dude, Where’s My Fic?
Hiya! Happy Friday! Today we’re introducing a new feature inspired by YOU, our Fan Fic Friday readers. We get great comments from you; you share what you’ve been reading, you comment on our posts, and ask questions about fics past and present. Recently, there have been a number of questions that go something like this:
“I love ‘That Fic That Everyone Loved” but can’t find it anymore! What happened? Help!!”
Fics disappear for a number of reasons: authors leave the fandom, or take down their stories for personal reasons or to rework them. Often though, fics have been taken down because the author is publishing them. So many of the stories you love are out there waiting for you, edited, buffed up and ready to sit proudly on your bookshelf! 🙂 I thought it would be fun to share two of my (many)favourite fic-to-book titles and then tell you which fic I think would make a great published book. It all started with an impulse-buy, clearance cowboy romance novel at the grocery store checkout. Since then I have been on a quest for the perfect cowboy romance. When I say “cowboy” I don’t mean a salesman at the sports bar wearing a giant belt buckle and a Garth Brooks shirt (no offense Garth). No, sir. I mean a M-A-N who gets dirty and sweaty riding a horse, with rough hands and strong thighs. [Deb: *blacks out*] Oooh yeaaah, howdy pardner!
Today we’ll start with Michelle who has some mighty fine cowboys for us.

Deb: Alright, alright, alright… (I’m still in Oscar mode, apologies). Down below, Katie talks about curling up and reading during this long cold winter. For me, my brain is frozen. I can’t seem to settle to anything (this also may be to do with Mr Rob Pattinson residing and working a quick car drive away; talk about brain scrambling). FanFic Friday: Young Pilgrims, Malice and Hockeywards Galore
Happy Friday Fic lovers! Michelle and I have a few stories to share with you so let’s get right to it. I’m up first with a stunning short story.
Young Pilgrims by ineedyoursway
No banner but I pictured Edward a lil like this… *weeps*
Author summary: Bella lives a life without passion. Passion is the only thing Edward has.
Young Pilgrims is an AH complete short story told in a poetic style from Bella’s POV. I found this older gem while fic diving; it was one of those cases of “I’ll just check out the first chapter” and then looking up hours later and feeling like you’ve seen a really good movie. I could not stop reading. I loved the style, the intensity, the quiet, sarcastic humour and the angsty mystery of figuring out who this Edward was.
